WhyThis Retreat Matters

If you’re seeking a women’s retreat in North Wales for deep resttransformation, and genuine connection, you’re in the right place.

We invite you to join us in co-creating and participating in an immersive retreat in the wilds of Snowdonia—a time and space to pause, listen, and reconnect with what matters most: attuning to our own individual still, small voice of wisdom and to the wonderful wild voice of nature’s wisdom.

This experience is designed especially for women leaders longing to deepen their individual sense of purpose while also nurturing the collective vision and strength of our group.

Modern life asks so much of women—balancing demanding careersfamily commitmentsrelationships, and the invisible weight of holding everything (and everyone) together. It’s easy to lose touch with your own needs, let alone your dreams or true direction.

This women’s retreat in Snowdonia is your invitation to gently step away from it all. Here, there’s no need to wear the strong mask or hustle for your worth. You receive wholehearted permission to slow downfind real rest, and simply be yourself—in a space free from pressure and expectation.

We’ll move between dance, song, nature inquiry, shared meals, and moments for honest reflection—always held with warmthscience, and a dash of wonder. The experience is co-facilitated by me, Caroline Mason and Jenny Mackewn, ensuring the space is beautifully held for true transformation.

You’ll find yourself surrounded by stunning wild nature and a supportive community of women—free to exhale, restore your energy, and reconnect with what nourishes you most. Whether you crave clarity, inspiration, confidence, or true breathing space, these days are yours to reset, rise, and reclaim your natural rhythm.

As well as deep rest and renewal, you’ll leave with practical tools and simple practices to integrate into everyday life—empowering you to lead, care, and live with greater ease.

At the heart of Rest & Rise is this: you come as you are, connect with your own wisdom, and return home lighter, more alive, and with a renewed sense of self.

Not ready for a retreat, but craving soulful support?

Work with me, Caroline directly and explore 1:1 Executive Coaching for Women—transformative support for women leaders ready for clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose in work and life.

What can you share about the Retreat experience?

Your retreat experience begins before you ever step foot in Snowdonia. About three weeks before your arrival, you’ll have a gentle, private coaching session (15 minutes, via Zoom) with Caroline or Jenny—an invitation to explore what’s calling you, the enquiry you’ll carry during retreat, and how we can support you best. It’s the first step in co-creating a truly bespoke and nourishing experience.

Each Rest & Rise retreat is shaped by those who gather, the energy of the moment, and the wisdom of the land. Here’s a flavour of what you can expect—anchored enough to reassure, always open to play, fun, and emergence.

Day 1 (Thursday): Arrivals, Welcoming & Grounding

  • Arrive and settle in from 4pm.
  • Welcome circle outdoors on the historic bell tent pads (or in the cosy barn if it’s wet): time to land, meet each other, and gently begin letting go.
  • Grounding & gratitude practices on the lawns below Rhiw Goch’s ancient walls help us reconnect with bodies, earth, laughter, and each other.
  • A relaxed communal supper and gentle reflection open the retreat.

Day 2 (Friday): Setting Your Intention & Inquiry

  • Gentle morning movement or mindful nature walk
  • Guided circle (outdoors or in the barn): connect to what brought you here, explore your personal “question” for the retreat.
  • Outdoor solo time—walk stone paths, meander lawns, or rest in the woods, listening for your own wisdom and nature’s messages.
  • Creative practices (journaling, drawing, movement) to capture insights and find your “still, small voice.”
  • Evening sharing circles around the fire pit—deepening connection and witnessing each other’s questions and intentions.
  • Delicious shared meals, time to rest, optional song or movement to close.

Day 3 (Saturday):

Deeper Journeying & Nature Immersion

  • Morning check-in and gentle embodiment practice.
  • Nature quest or intuition walk—guided solo time in pastures, woodlands, or by flowing streams.
  • Group reflection and supportive coaching to clarify what you’ll embrace and what you’re ready to release.
  • Afternoon workshops—movement, expressive arts, or constellation work (always tailored to group needs).
  • Evening gratitude ritual: gratitude as a lever for bringing more joy and ease into your life.

Day 4 (Sunday): Integration & Emergence

  • Gentle movement and mindfulness in the barn or outdoors.
  • Harvesting your journey—sharing, mapping, or expressing visually the transformation you’ve experienced.
  • Closing circle: presencing, sensing into what’s next, and gathering resources to bring home.

Day 5 (Monday morning): Celebrating & Farewell

  • Integration circle: ceremony to celebrate what has come, and what you’re letting go of.
  • Check out at 10am, departure 12noon.

Every Day Offers:

  • A choice of walks, from gentle lawns and smooth paths to wilder mountains (supportive for all mobilities)
  • Indoor and outdoor practice spaces: barn studio, Lodge, and (if the weather allows) the woods and streams
  • Opportunities for laughter, play, rest, connection, and soulful conversation
  • A flexible, responsive rhythm—some structure, always shaped by you and the group

We’ll confirm the closing schedule nearer the time, ensuring everyone can participate fully—whether your journey home starts Sunday night or Monday midday.

The Rest & Rise retreat follows a spiral path: from arrival and grounding, to deepening inquiry, to letting go and listening (to self & nature), then emerging renewed. Whether you come seeking clarity, rest, or joyful connection, your journey is honoured start to finish.

Julie Leoni

Is a creative facilitator, coach, educator, writer, and yoga teacher who thrives at the intersection of human connection and the natural world. For over 35 years, Julie has danced between roles—life coach, mindfulness guide, teacher, researcher, poet, permaculturist—always drawn by a restless curiosity and a love of helping people find their place, their pace, and their peace.

Her path has taken her from the Himalayas (where she first learned to meditate nearly 40 years ago) to classrooms, retreat centres, and community circles across the UK. She has worked with teenagers, leaders, teachers, and wild-swimming women, making even the trickiest concepts simple and inviting people gently toward growth, resilience, and real human connection.

Julie’s facilitation is spacious, exploratory, and playful—offering yoga, meditation, and creative practice as ways to come home to yourself. She has written two personal development books, an award-nominated poetry collection, and holds a PhD alongside three Master’s degrees, but her greatest credentials are her love of people, laughter, and wild nature.

Known for her warmth, directness, and ability to meet everyone “just as they are,” Julie believes learning is a team sport—and that wisdom is always a shared, living thing.

Julie will be weaving her magic with us for the June retreat.
