THE INVISIBLE COMPASS: GOLD

Lead from all of you.

This is where leaders at the top put down what they’ve been carrying alone and become steady under pressure. In person, on the land, with someone who’s sat at their table.

WHERE YOU ARE

Everyone thinks you’ve got it handled. Your body knows you haven’t.

  • You’re carrying more than anyone sees. And carrying it alone.
  • One chapter is ending, and several doors are open at once.
  • On paper you’ve proved yourself. At 3am, you’re asking if you’re still made for this.
  • What comes next can’t cost your health, time in nature, or your life and love.

The Invisible Compass is where you put it down, and choose from all of who you are.

THE INVISIBLE COMPASS

Most leaders are navigating with one point of their compass.

They were trained to lead from intellect alone: armoured, always on, with all the answers. Emotion, intuition and embodiment got left behind somewhere between childhood and the boardroom.

This is One-Point Leadership: leading from intellect alone, with the other three points of the compass shut down. It isn’t a personal failing. It’s the pattern the boardroom trains into leaders.

That’s why the top feels so heavy. Most leaders don’t lack strategy or stamina. They’re leading with a quarter of what they have.

The answer is Whole Leadership. The best leaders don’t choose between head and heart, or between love and ambition. They lead with all of it.

We work in nature because that’s where leaders think clearly.

HOW IT WORKS

Land. Listen. Lead.

Whole Leadership, for leaders at the top. Built on the four ways of knowing.

First your body settles. Then you hear yourself. Then you lead.

Land. Step out of the noise. We slow down until there’s space to think.

Listen. Hear the three points your intellect has been talking over: body, emotion and intuition.

Lead. Turn insight into practical action, in writing, and lead from your centre.

The four ways of knowing, Emotion, Intuition, Intellect and Embodiment, joined as one living system
WHAT WE WORK TOWARDS

Clear, quick decisions you trust.

Not more strategy. The steadiness to use what you already know.

You decide from a calm centre, not on fumes.

You know what truly needs you today, not the whole list.

“What stood out most was her ability to combine thoughtful reflection with constructive challenge and accountability, creating space for clearer thinking, better decisions and lasting change.”

“Working with Caroline helped me shift from focusing on the challenges of organisational change to seeing the opportunities it created.”

Carl Edwards · Director of Communication, Engagement & Education, LEAF

THE SHIFT WE WORK TOWARDS

The team feels the difference before anyone says a word.

Steady under pressure. Present at home and at work. Yourself again.

You notice the early signals before exhaustion, sleep through the night again, laugh again.

You delegate, ask instead of having every answer, and stop snapping at people.

“I now feel able to move forward with much more clarity, focus and calmness.”

“Her holistic approach helped me step back from a purely strategic mindset and connect with what was truly important to me, process a significant transition, and make decisions that felt genuinely aligned. She combines thoughtful challenge with deep insight, creating lasting and meaningful change.”

Helen Curtis · Founder & Director, Coterie Marketing

YOUR SIX MONTHS

It opens with The Landing: a full day on the land at Rhiw Goch.

Then in person every three weeks, nine sessions in all. WhatsApp support on weekdays.

Your Field Notes within three working days: summary and actions. Closing day recommended, not required.

“Caroline’s coaching helped me find clarity, strengthen my self-trust, and make more intentional decisions about how I spend my time.”

“She creates a thoughtful and expansive space for reflection, while also challenging assumptions in ways that lead to genuine insight and lasting change. I now feel more empowered to protect my boundaries, honour my priorities and navigate life’s complexities with confidence.”

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Someone who’s sat at your table.

Caroline Mason

ICF ACC-credentialed Embodied Systemic Coach

20+ years at senior and executive level, including Head of Agriculture at the Co-op.

Led supply networks of 10,000+ producers in 16+ countries. Trustee and Board Advisor, LEAF.

I burnt out doing it well. Now I bring the boardroom onto the land.

I grew up in the countryside, in a hardworking farming family, and nature has always been my guiding, faithful servant.

Rhiw Goch is my home, with breathtaking mountain views and our ancient, protected Celtic rainforest in Snowdonia. I’ve helped bring it back to life as a place for deeper work.

HOW I WORK

Below the surface. Held to the action.

We’ll go below the surface: into your body, your patterns, what you’ve been carrying alone. Every session ends in practical action, in your Field Notes within three working days. I’ll hold you to it.

Everything you share stays between us, in line with the ICF Code of Ethics. If your organisation funds the work, we agree together at the start what, if anything, is shared with them.

Staying where you are feels like the safe option. It’s the most expensive one on the table.

WHO COVERS WHAT

The Landing is always at Rhiw Goch.

  • Here, you cover your travel and your stay. Places on site from £120 a night.
  • I look after your meals during our sessions, and the space.
  • At your venue, you provide the room. My travel and expenses: cost plus 10%.

SENIOR TEAM AND CONSULTANCY WORK

“Unlike typical consultants who rely on flashy presentations or one-size-fits-all psychological tools, Caroline brought something refreshingly authentic.”

“She shared personal insights and methods that genuinely worked, creating real connection rather than corporate theatre… She’s the kind of consultant and coach who listens first, understands deeply, and then delivers exactly what you need, not what she thinks will impress you.”

Zeri James · Chief Sustainability Officer, Flamingo Group International

Where do the sessions happen?

What if I’m not near Snowdonia?

Who covers travel and accommodation?

At Rhiw Goch, you cover your travel and your stay, with places on site from £120 a night. I look after your meals during our sessions, and the space. At your venue, you provide the room, and my travel, accommodation and expenses are invoiced at cost plus 10%.

How is confidentiality handled if my organisation pays?

Everything you share stays between us, in line with the ICF Code of Ethics. If your organisation funds the work, we agree together at the start what, if anything, is shared with them.

What happens after I email “Gold”?

I’ll send you the proposal and answer any questions you have by message. When you’re ready, reply to confirm, and your coaching agreement will be with you within 48 hours.

Is this coaching, mentoring or consultancy?

It’s coaching. Gold is one-to-one coaching with an ICF ACC-credentialed Embodied Systemic Coach, in person and on the land. It isn’t mentoring, consultancy or psychotherapy. We work with all four ways of knowing, so you find your own answers, and every session ends in practical action.
