Transformation Through Life’s Messiest Chapters

True personal growth happens in the hard seasons. As a women’s leadership coach, I’ve learned it’s the moments of challenge that build real resilience and spark meaningful change. Every time I’ve had to dig deep, face mistakes, or make hard choices, it’s shaped how I support women, introverts, and leaders on their leadership journeys today.

Roots: Rural Resilience and Nature-Based Leadership

Growing up on a farm in rural Shropshire, my early life was grounded in responsibility, discipline, and the unspoken lessons of nature. Mornings started before sunrise, with animals to feed and a list of jobs that built my work ethic. Nature was my first coach—horses, trees, wild skies—offering lessons in both creativity and calm.

Those experiences taught me that intuitioncreativity, and wellbeing grow strongest outside—principles I now share in my leadership coaching and women’s retreats.

From Corporate Burnout to Coaching Empowered Women in Leadership

Like many, my career path had its storms. In my 20s, I faced corporate bankruptcy as a procurement manager, carrying the weight of knowing my decisions affected farmers’ livelihoods. I learned never to put my well-being or values behind a job title.

After two decades in corporate leadership with major UK brands, the pandemic brought a crossroads: redundancy in a company-wide restructure. Instead of holding on, I chose freedom, travelling to Costa Rica to volunteer in wildlife conservation—a chapter that reconnected me with my core values.

It was there, in the rainforest, that I realised how burnt out I’d become. I shed corporate armour, reflected in nature, and reclaimed my energy and direction.

From that turning point, I launched Seeds to Thrive (my sustainability consultancy), trained as an ICF-accredited Embodied Systemic CoachTeam Coach, and CFCL – certified Compassionate Leadership Teacher. I discovered that true organisational transformation doesn’t start with policy—it starts by igniting hearts and minds.

Two years ago, I was honoured to be invited to join the Board of Trustees at LEAF.  For me, it was more than just a position—it felt like coming full circle. I get to bring my farming roots, my commitment to sustainable leadership, and my belief in the power of community to a charity shaping the future of food and farming. Being a Board advisor here isn’t just about strategy; it’s about making sure positive change is possible for both people and the planet.

Leadership Lessons from Every Chapter

  • Leadership is action: Take imperfect steps and invite others to grow alongside you.

  • Resilience is ownership: Learn from mistakes, move forward, and celebrate every win.

  • Growth is courage: Launching my business and coaching women leaders has been my bravest step—requiring me to let go of old beliefs and focus on genuine connection to my purpose.

Coaching, Retreats & Supporting Sustainable Leadership

My approach has always been coaching-first—whether I’m mentoring teams, facilitating group learning, or building deep relationships one-to-one. But my own transformation truly began a decade ago, when I first worked with a life coach and started exploring women’s leadership circles, fertility and wellbeing coaching, and other forms of personal growth. Each experience gave me greater compassion and understanding, shaping the way I now support other women and introverted leaders.

Today, I lead transformational workshops, leadership coaching, and restorative retreats in Snowdonia National Park. I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe to explore, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most—so they can lead with purpose, resilience, and heart.

The Human Touch: Horses, Nature & Supporting Empowered Women

Outside of client work, I stay grounded through horses, adventure, and nature. I’ve coached and competed in sports, travelled across five continents, and trained for both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Giving back drives me. In 2024, I took on the GROW for Good Challenge with Farm Africa, raising £75,000 to empower women in agriculture. Alongside inspiring women leaders, we cycled, camped, and worked on female-run farms—showing what determined, purpose-driven women can achieve together.

Ready for Your Own Transformation?

This is the heart of my journey—imperfect, messey, ever evolving, and guided by the belief that sustainable leadership and real well-being are possible for everyone.

If you’re standing at a turning point or feeling called to new growth, know that change is possible with courage and the right support.

If you’re ready to explore what’s possible for your one wild and precious life, I’d love to walk alongside you.
